I think I've hit an official photography slump.
The past few days, I haven't even been compelled to tote my camera along with me. I've been relying on my iPhone to shoot the photo of the day over at the 365 blog (bad Jen! Bad!)
It's been cold. It's been cloudy. And I'm sick of trying to get the lighting right to shoot indoors. I need something fresh to look at.
What do you do when you've hit the slump?

I get slumps all the time - particularly when I feel that I *have* to do something (as opposed to wanting to do it). Sometimes if I write down all the reasons I don't want to do something, it helps. Other times, I just need to realize it's OK to be in a slump.
The I-phone photos look really good, by the way :)
Do something nice for yourself. We all get caught up in the have-tos of life and it zaps our creativity. You gotta replenish the well.
Great suggestions, Lishcat and Julie. Taking a break helps me too. ALso, I agree that your iphone photos look awesome! Hang in there!
I just take a break. I love photography and will be starting a portrait business soon, but when I was practicing for it and getting all booked up, all of a suddenly the fun disappeared. So I took a break and then also took pictures that were not people to practice other areas of photography. :D
