Brighten your day

I'm trying to not focus on the chill in the air and the brown snow on the ground. Here are some gorgeous items on etsy that has me ready to welcome spring! (Click on the photos to see the listing.)

This beautiful shamrock is from g(ART)en fine art photgraphy, which can be found at ajawin.etsy.com. I absolutely adore the coloring and the dew drops!

Yum... delicious raspberries for the taking at LeaSeguin.etsy.com.

Gah! This adorable bird from HomemadeZen.etsy.com is too cute!

These delicate tulips can be found in JoannasPhotography.etsy.com. They remind me of Easter!

What are your springtime inspirations?

Spring in Connecticut!

Etsy seller Lauren Tagliatela is offering beautiful photos of the cherry blossom trees in New Haven. I'm especially in love of her cherry bomb photo, listed below.

If it isn't already obvious, flower photos are my weakness. Kudos to Lauren-- now I have some new ones to add to my collection! :)

Etsy Find: Woolpets

I have fallen in love with Woolpets. These adorable needle-felted pieces are created by Laurie, who shears, washes, cards and dyes the wool from her sheep. Since January 2007, she has already made over a 1,200 sales on Etsy!

I think it's amazing that such life-like creatures can be made from a little bit of wool. Check out her store to see more!

We all need to have a little fun!

Red Marionette

I found this darling trio through Treasury West on Etsy. These finger puppets are part of a larger shop. I've added Red Marionette to my blogroll --check her out, along with her impressive table display at craft fairs!

Time to Think "Irish!"

My photography find for this week highlights the work of Joe Cashin. This talented photographer has beautiful, scenic views of Ireland. (Below is a photo of County Donegal.) I had the great fortune to be his first customer, and I was extremely surprised to find the 8x10 photograph in my mailbox yesterday! It only took five days to get from Ireland! :) I've got my eye on his "Old Killarney Home" for my next purchase!

Wish You Were Here

Doesn't this just look gorgeous? My (VERY) talented friend Lauren took this photo during a trip to New Zealand. I just love the reflection on the water and the very zen-like quality of this photo. Check it out at her Etsy store!

Etsy Find

I found a very talented photographer on Etsy tonight that I'm excited to share. His shop is called Thru The Blue. And he has amazing black and white photos. I naturally favor tree photographs, so his "Home at Last" card caught my eye. Doesn't it look beautiful? It makes me want to drive to Alberta, Canada!

Valentine Fun

Last night I decided to upload this adorable photo of Lola in celebration of Valentine's Day. I mean, what doesn't say love like a fuzzy bunny hiding in a pink house? :) I think it will make a cute Valentine's Day card... I may have to send out a few myself!

Speaking of adorable, cute cards, I had to purchase these two owls from Lolo + Sprout. It looks like they're selling pretty well!

Busy Sunday!

Coming off a busy work/school week should have left me exhausted-- but all I could think about doing was beginning work on my new projects. After another trip to the craft store to get last minute items, I was on my way. I started 25 scrabble pendants and completed three sun catchers. Here's a sneak peak of the sun catchers:

I designed them to hang off the review mirror in cars. Or to hang in windows to add some rainbows to the room. :)

In other news, a very talented artist by the name of Melyssa finished a portrait of Lola for me. It should be here this week. I'm very excited to see it. I fell in love with the style of Melyssa's paintings when I found her Bunny Love ACEO on Etsy (see below).

Lola's portrait is in a similar fashion-- can't wait to see it in person!

So you must check her out at Ninnerfish.etsy.com (and my blogroll links to her blog too).
