Back at the vets

Today Molly started to refuse veggies and poop less so I brought her in. She needs another pain med, a dosage increase on her original pain med, and now she is down to 2.5 pounds (she was 3.5 when she was spayed in August). And I've been told to move her house away from Lola since Lola's aggression may be contributing to stress. (They've never played together and have always been seperated by a gate but Lola seems insanly jealous of Molly.)

Good thoughts are welcome...

Hi Jen,
thanks for the update! Lola sounds similar to Arabella. When I brought Wesley home in Nov '07 they had gotten on fine at the rescue in a pen together 'bonding' but at home had a big fight and they have been separated ever since then. Arabella is very, very inquisitive about his room.
Hoping that Molly will get back to eating soon.
Sending good thoughts :)
best wishes, Annette

So sorry to hear this! It is difficult to figure out the psychological interactions between animals. I'm sending many good thoughts to Molly - and to Lola too.

Continuing the good, positive thoughts for Molly... for healing and strength! I think animals sense the weakness or illness of others and sometimes they act on that... it's life in the natural world. But I hope Lola will be a little more accepting of Molly... will send thoughts for that too! Loved her birthday party pix by the way.
