Happy Friday!

I've been a bad blogger ... but I have a good reason! I've been hard at work on my photo pendants for my Etsy store. I think I finally got the combination right, and I hope to debut them next week. I special ordered 200 little brown jewelry boxes and bought some tiny moo cards to place inside too. :) (I'm really pumped, can you tell?)

In addition, I'm really excited about some brand new orchid photos that my husband and I shot this week. Undoubtedly, a good number will make it to photo pendants. And I spent a portion of our tax refund (thanks honey!) on a Canon macro lens which is now my favorite lens for the camera. I think it'll be great to use this spring when I start visiting my usual garden spots!

I'm also psyched because I discovered awesome new photo paper by Ilford. It produces a lovely finish for my photos, and I'm gradually working it into my shop. I only ordered it in 4x6 size for my photo cards, but I'm so happy with the result that I plan on ordering much more!

I'm so glad things are falling into place with my many projects. Lauren and I have started to mail out the applications for numerous craft shows this summer. We're hoping for a very good season, and we'll actually be able to accept credit cards this year. Our first show is in May, which falls perfectly with my pastry school calendar because I'll be off that Saturday.

I plan to upload some of my new work in the next few days! Check back soon!
